The photos above tell part of The Mattress Lot’s commitment to our community. On the left is our truck dropping off a donation of mattresses to Community Warehouse. On the right is the intersection of NE 24th and Everett St. where we supported the Kerns Neighborhood Association in painting a colorful traffic-calming design in the street.
Giving back to our neighborhoods and community is an important part of how we do business. You will see our banners at youth sporting events and you will see our donated mattresses in hundreds of low-income homes across Portland. Our Mattress Lot Scholarship program helps send top Eastside students to college each year.
We do not advertise on TV, radio or newspapers. We prefer to spend those dollars giving back to people and organizations making a difference in our community.
We are most involved with mattress donations to needy families (through numerous social service agencies including Community Warehouse), education and scholarships.
